Accounting built around how Kerry earns its living
Kerry businesses rarely earn the same amount every month. Hotels, cafés and tour operators in Killarney, Dingle and Kenmare take most of their income between Easter and September, then carry costs through the winter. We plan VAT, preliminary tax and cash flow around that season, so a strong summer doesn’t turn into an unexpected tax bill.
We also work with farmers and agri businesses, tradespeople, retailers in Tralee town and the many Kerry families who let a holiday home or a second property. Each comes with its own tax rules, and we explain them in plain English before anything is filed.
Tourism & hospitality
Seasonal cash-flow planning, VAT on accommodation and food, and payroll for summer staff.
Farming & agri businesses
Farm accounts, income tax returns and retirement relief when the farm passes to the next generation.
Trades & construction
Bookkeeping, VAT on construction services and the move from sole trader to limited company.
Landlords & holiday lets
Rental income, short-term let income and the expenses you can actually claim.
