Accounting for the way Dublin does business
Dublin is Ireland’s busiest business hub: tech and software companies, financial and professional services firms, contractors working for multinationals, and thousands of start-ups across the city and suburbs. Many of them don’t need an accountant down the street. They need one who replies quickly, knows Irish tax rules inside out and keeps the books current online.
A lot of our Dublin work involves contractors deciding between sole trader and limited company status, employees with shares or share options, and landlords letting an apartment while living elsewhere. We explain the options with real numbers before anything is filed.
Tech & software start-ups
Company set-up, VAT decisions and investor-ready accounts from your first invoice.
Contractors & company directors
Salary versus dividends, expenses and director tax returns done properly.
Consultants & professional services
Fixed-fee bookkeeping, tax planning and cash-flow forecasts for client-based businesses.
Landlords & non-resident owners

Accountants in Dublin: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have an office in Dublin?
No. We are based in Co. Kerry and serve Dublin clients fully online, by phone, email and video call. Working this way keeps our fees below typical city-centre practices, and you still deal directly with a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
I work in tech and have shares or share options. Can you help?
Yes. We check what has already been taxed through your payroll, what you still need to declare, and how Capital Gains Tax applies when you sell, so your return is right first time.
I’m a contractor in Dublin. Should I be a sole trader or a limited company?
It depends mainly on your profit and how much you take out of the business each year. We run both options with your real figures so you can see the tax difference before you decide.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. We handle the handover, collect prior-year records and link ourselves as your tax agent on ROS, so nothing falls between the cracks.
How much do your services cost?
We agree a fixed monthly fee after your free 30-minute business check, based on the work your business actually needs. There are no hourly surprises.
